I Love Yoo!!!

Last 2 weeks, I was at One Utama doing some window shopping...hehe...I actually didn't plan the shopping at One Utama...but my mom wanna go there for some reason...so there we are...

By the time we reached there, it's already passed lunch hour but we still haven't had our lunch. So we decided to have something really light before we have our dinner later...and happen that we passed by this stall, I Love Yoo!

Here we ordered a few items for everybody....



This was crunchy...very tasty...(although that was not my first try on it)



It will become a definite perfect match, if the yoo tiow is serve with the porridge or even hot soya bean...

Then we also had some of these...sesame balls...with peanut paste and butterfly buns...



and also the fried bun...



These were all nice...and after we finished the light meal...we then continue with the shopping...or should I say...start to shop?!

Frankly speaking...I got a surprise for myself on that day...guess what...I met someone...

I will reveal this "someone" in the next post...stay right with me!!!

Red Box at IOI Mall

Hello people!!! How are you?! Still remember a few posts back, I highlighted my happening Saturday?!

Either yes or no...it's okay...anyway I'm still going to blog a few little details for that day.

I went to Puchong IOI Mall to meet up with friends to pay a visit to the newly opened Red Box karaoke. When we were there, the staff there were unable to get our room ready by giving the reason of power trip earlier on...sigh...

The delay took us almost like 1/2 hour...OMG!!! We made our reservation but ends up still have to wait....WTF!!! Minus 1 point for new Red Box. But then....while we were waiting.....they served us some soft drink to cool us down....lol



At first we really don't know how much longer we need to wait.....sienzzz...ends up



yes....Wee Keong was reading...cause he don't know how to use their notebook to access internet.....minus another 1 point....

Then when finally we got our room....we thought immediate we can have our long waited lunch....but hey no....don't know why they insisted to wait till 3 PM? They already made us waited for so long....and now wait some more??? Minus another 1 point.

Okay...finally the food was served after 3 PM....=___= and here's my super mini lunch....



with super dried pasta....YIAKKK!!! tasteless...and the serving portion was damn small...it can be considered as snack.....nonono...minus another 1 point.

And here's everyone busy eating....yes....busy eating...not singing....LOL!!! Sure they must had starved for long hours....



Okay lor...after eating only got energy to scream....hehe...ala sing out loud...hehehe....

And then...more scary experience to share tomorrow....so...remember to come back kay? Good Nite!

Simply a Saturday...

It's been a long long time that my Saturday did not experience the feeling of fullness (normally quite empty).

I woke up early in the morning to go to USJ 10 for a photography job. Later in the noon, I went to IOI mall to meet up with friends for K-ing at new Red Box.



I shall cover this new Red Box experience in a later detail posting.

Then after K-ing, around 7 PM, I went to Sunway Pyramid to meet up with my sister for dinner. It so happen that I did not drive on this day and definitely I'll take a cab from IOI mall to Sunway Pyramid which is not far away and definitely will not take more than 5 minutes to reach there in a smooth traffic condition.

But who knows...all the taxis are not willing to take me there unless I pay them RM 20...WTF!!! What is in their shit mind?! Not using meter is already wrong...some more to slaughter me was sin for them...

What to do?! I've no choice but to take the expensive cab after bargaining with them...sigh....they almost ruined my day....

Okay...can't care so much...as long as I have to reach Sunway Pyramid. Once I reached there....I went to look for my sister and who knows...they were actually holding an event for A Cut Above so called Cutathon. They are doing this for charity. Meaning that, all the money collected for haircuts will be donated. The haircuts were done by mostly students from A Cut Above Academy.

Since one of them is my recent adopted hair stylist (she's a student as well) was there, no harm for me to do some good for charity....so here you go....RM 10 for a simple haircut which helps those in need...







hahaaha....sorry...no choice...but to let you see my self-camwhoring photos....but frankly speaking....student isn't bad all the time....they are so dedicated....and I'm quite surprised they can do so well...

Then...after my haircut...I went to have dinner with my sister at Ole Ole Bali. I will blog the detail post later. Now sleepy....tomorrow is Monday...got to sleep now...Good Nite!

Inner Mongolia

Just before 1st May, and it was Thursday evening, I was being dragged to have dinner with fellow comrades! The place was Inner Mongolia at Jalan Pudu. It's very easy to spot it along the main road. If you still can't find it....swing out your GPS and start navigating...LOL!!!

So...that was the first time that I dine in there...I kept my expectation low...as low as possible...and just to let you know....I don't know what exactly to eat there...cause...the menu are filled with Chinese characters...sigh...

Hence they proceed to pick what ever they think it's best...so...lets see what we had...



Okay...steam boat...not really my favourite...but still I tried...^___^ They ordered 2 flavors, one the clear soup and the other obviously the spicy soup...

Lets start off with few of these...







Freshness of the above 3 items must be superb otherwise it will ruin your appetite...and I can said that we were lucky to obtain the freshness of all....it was nice....and btw, we had the buffet package where each person were allowed to have 2 serves of any combination of meat....and the rest no limit...

Yea...it's no limit on others...so they keep on crazily ordered and ordered and ordered....@____@ so I just kept on eating and eating and eating.... ^____^" and no photos for the rest of the food since I was too busy eating....hehe...

And before I left to introduce the most special thing in the shop....



The sauce is damn important...without it is like errr....errr...aiya...I don't know...it's a must have sauce lar....

Okay...talk so long on food and food and food...here are some faces from that evening...





They are all my sister's ex-colleague...and please don't ask me why I'm there...obviously...I'm there for the food...ahahaha...we left there around 11.30 PM....so...the business hours is rather late....try it if you want to try...^____^

Spot the Difference!

Last week Friday, I finally managed to watch a movie in the cinema....why finally? Because I did not step into the cinema for months can!

I felt full after I watched this movie...



The movie was nice...in the sense of the story...this round...street racing was minimal and you can see the funky party with plenty of sexy girls wearing....ooppss(did they?) ahahaha...it was actually one of the element carried forward from the previous movie, Tokyo Drift...thanks to Justin Lin.

Oh well you definitely can see that Vin Diesel is at that age...but hey..come on...he's still one sexy guy...if I were a girl...I'm definitely falling for him...^___^".

I rate this movie 8.5/10 overall....go watch it...and make sure you're above 18 yo.

New Style, New Banner...

Some new idea just came across my mind. Remember I had a status in Facebook mentioning that I'm damn free for this weekend...I don't mean it's work related...but somehow it's regarding my own weekend lifestyle. It's pretty bored...then I again simply think of something to play with....first I play with my guitar....trying some recording stuff using my Nokia Tube...then I try to blog in a very hot day( I don't have any air-cond) sigh....sienzzz...and my mom wanted to go for tea-ing....and we went to Old Town at Jusco Seremban 2.....and I had this....



But by just taking this pic and post it via Ping.fm to facebook and so on....doesn't really spice up my weekend...so I decided to blog it here...but I want this to be in a total different category of posting...and again I got inspired by smashpop...here I just freshly baked from oven, the new banner..."kenzio freestyle....weekend style, weekend dreamz". And from this point onwards...whenever I got bored and wanted to post something about my weekend....this new banner will be attached.

Societe

Else where I really don't know...but one thing for sure I know is that, it's at Lot 10. I was having lunch at Societe before I moved on to Low Yat on one fine day...:P

Of course I didn't go there alone, my mom and sis were there too....but before I go into posting the very few photos, please pardon the white balance that I used...^____^"'the lighting was quite confusing for my camera skill...hehe...but overall the ambient was good...calm...classic...(at least...able to drive my appetite to high peak)

Okay...now, to the menu...I selected this for my lunch...



The taste was not bad at all....the chicken meat was smooth....



My mom ordered the simplest of all....and the taste quite decent lor....



And finally a pasta for my sister.....the taste just no difference from average...but still consider boleh makan lar....

Of course....food at such place surely will tag with those price....not cheap...:P

So if you want to try it...just go...don't put a second thought....

Ying Ker Lou, Hakka Restaurant

I'm feeling so miserable....don't really know how to resume my blog posting....guess I must be too bored this time around...

Okay...no matter how, I guess I'll still have to post something so that I can clear some of my back logs...

Ying Ker Lou, a Hakka Restaurant at the Curve...is I went to recently with my mom, sis and cousin brother.... The food there not bad...boleh tahan can! We ordered some very home style feel dishes....

I had this at home quite often...but wanna try others cook...



Taste not bad...can match with my home one....lol..but as you can see...the name of the dish is very long...ouchh..

Then here come this...something very normal to most of us....



This one not so good...as I can taste any of the squid at all...and the pork doesn't taste enough salty....so...it's a no no...meaning...my home one still the best...LoL!!!

Next...fried egg...quite popular among the mixed rice stall...^_____^"'



We had brinjal...but don't know why...the naming don't have any word of it mentioned....???



The taste of the above all were above average standard....so you can try. Only one weird thing was that my cousin didn't want to eat any of those.....sigh...nowadays seems like so hard to please kids....so we ordered this for him lor...



Lucky the taste of this salty chicken was good...otherwise...don't know what to order for my cousin....

I'm rating the food of this restaurant above moderate as of this moment with the little dishes that I tried. The taste of all the dishes almost can match with my home cook one....but one thing on the downside which cause the rating to be above average is that...the pricing...a little over price...(i.e. Pork slice cause me RM25 ler)

William's Roadside Pastas

I've been so lazy to do any posting for this whole week...it's not saying that I've nothing to post....but just that I don't feel like posting :D

Even now...I still don't have the inspiration to post anything....but I think somehow I need to take out something to post so that...those back logs won't get stuck in my HDD for too long....

Last month...don't know which week already...I was recommended to try out something casual for my dinner since there's some commented that I always had "too good" food and cause me not able to jaga dompet(take care of my wallet) LOL can!......

Here's the makan place...some called it William's Pastas...some called it roadside pastas....or some even called it William's Fusion with the combination of Western Indian Malaysian fusion. It's located at Taman Mayang, the one opposite to the Kelana Jaya LRT station....or for those who are familiar with the old LimKokWing college...it's just beside there...at the open air roadside hawker stall.

This was my first time here...so I've no idea what to order...so just simply tembak and laid my faith and luck to the chef.....

Here's the food and drinks...

It's famous and popular beverage....ribena longan/lychee...I was so lucky that I didn't order one for myself...it's actually ordered by my sister...why? because...it's super huge...the size was big...can't see it big? try to look at the spoon in it....even a table spoon also not long enough...sigh...so please be warned before you order it...



The first dish to serve was the seafood pasta....



OMG! The moment the seafood pasta was served...I nearly fainted...cause you'll know why when you look at the second lucky to be the last dish that we ordered. The size of the pasta was super huge....the clams...the big prawns...mussels...squids....bamboo mussels....O Dear...all so big big one...

Now....you should guess it right why I nearly fainted....



This all meat grilled (Duck, Chicken, Beef, Lamb, Sausage, Bacon, mashed potatoes, etc.)....the super large portion blow me off my socks!!! Really!....how the heck can both of us can finish this??? They should have mention to us that all the portions are super large...yaikss!!!

So in the end....I'm not able to conclude anything from this single experience as there're many more varieties to choose from William's.....but those that I tried...I can tell that the taste was up to certain standard...come on...it's a roadside standard leh...isn't it good to rate it high? I definitely would like to recommend this place to all of you that have yet try it.....trust me...the price is worth to pay for.....but be warned..bring enough people to share off the large portion....hehehe ^_^"'

Damansara Uptown 大炒

Last 3 weeks, I plan to have a simple Friday dinner where I'm hoping that I won't have to spend too much...and happen that the week before, I passed by this place after having dinner at Umai-ya and decided to try it out.I forgotten what's the shop's name but it is located along with Uptown Umai-ya...only that it is towards the end of the shop lots.

It was after rain when my sister and I reached there....and quickly we ordered some food before more people coming in...

Here's the roast duck for 2 persons....


The taste was good...not oily...not fat...and in fact....the drumstick quite crispy...

Then...here comes one of our main dish....they were serving hot and fast...


The quality was quite standard....it's ate able...

Next...the dish I normally won't miss for 大炒....


Taste was standard...overall okay....

We did add-on one more dish....


At end.... we cleaned up all the plates and it was quite satisfied....and we're paying for thirty over ringgit inclusive of drinks. Not really that cheap though...asking oneself.... where got cheap stuffs nowadays....right???
